Where do offer your home and office organizing services?
Typically you'll find us organizing homes and offices in central New Jersey. Our most visited towns are Chesterfield, Columbus, Allentown, Robbinsville, Hamilton, and Princeton. However, we have traveled west into Bucks County, Pennsylvania, and East to the Jersey Shore.
Located beyond our typical travel zones. Not a worry. We're always up for a road trip or even a flight! Just let us know and we'll work it out.
Are you going to make me get rid of things?
Part of our organizational process is a guided decluttering sort. While we encourage a thorough review and edit of your items, we’ll never make you get rid of anything. At the same time, it's important to start thinking about what matters most to you and your life right now. By investing , embracing, and trusting in the process of clearing clutter and getting organized, you'll be able to fully benefit from the power of less. Which, in the long run makes it easier to STAY organized.
What does an initial consult look like?
An in-person initial consult is not always required. We will look at your initial questionnaire, as well as your location and other factors, and may find that the initial consult can be done through Zoom and/or through sending photos. If an in-person consult is necessary, that will be discussed at that time.
The initial consult lasts up to 1 hour. There is nothing you need to do to prepare - no need to clean, pick up, or try to tidy. It is actually better for the organizer who is doing the consult to see how the space is currently being used, and for us to determine a solution that can really address the clutter and make lasting change. Note that no active organizing will happen during consult.
Who will be on the job?
Based on your needs, you will be paired with a lead organizer that can best meet your needs. There are always 2 people on a job - a lead organizer and an assistant organizer. Depending on the scope of the project, there may be 3+ organizers.
What can I expect during my session?
The team will start by clearing the space and sorting the items. Depending on the amount of items in the space, this may be broken into smaller chunks. We will then do a guided sort with you.
After a thorough review, we'll keep working on our own to plan the space and pull everything back together. Our final step is to set up any new necessary systems and/or products to make the most of both form and function.
How long will it take to get my space organized?
There are many factors that determine the amount of time needed to complete the project, including:
How quickly you make decisions regarding sorting and editing
The types of things we are organizing (papers take more time than canned goods to organize)
The level of detail you are looking for in the space
The density in the amount items we are working through
That being said, our team can get through spaces much quicker than you’d expect! We are able to give you a more accurate time estimate after our initial consult.
Can you help me with a move?
Absolutely! We know that when a move happens, it's typically alongside a lot of other things that need your energy and attention. We are here to help take you from home to home, while giving you the time to focus on the other exciting (and sometimes stressful!) parts of a move that need your attention.
